The porous nature of Mizunara oak results in a greater influence of flavour from the cask, meaning a wonderfully indulgent effect on our classic house blended Scotch whisky. The casks bring a range of gentle aromatic flavours to the blend, finished with a touch of spice. With a distinctive flavour that leaves a trace of hazelnut, Chivas Mizunara is a truly unique blend.
A portion of this blended Scotch whisky is finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks for an aromatic finish. Rich and fruity, presenting aromas of pear and orange. Smooth and rich with honey sweetness and a trace of hazelnut. Distinctive and spicy.
